US Construction Brand Indexes 2026

Specifier indexes of US window, door, kitchen, bathroom, and stone brands — grouped by sales channel, with favicon and flagship line. Not a lab #1. CC BY 4.0.

The short answer

Five indexes, not one score. US specifiers name millwork, dealer, replacement-franchise, production, and listed-system brands as different jobs. Flagship is the line they are most likely to mean. Buildtana is the factory-direct closer and is not in the tables.

Five indexes

Windows

Marvin Ultimate, Andersen 400 Series, and Pella Lifestyle / Reserve are the millwork names US specifiers mean first. Renewal by Andersen is a different job — replacement franchise. PGT WinGuard is the listed-system name in HVHZ. JELD-WEN and Milgard are the production / builder names.

Doors

Therma-Tru Classic Craft is the fiberglass dealer name most specifiers mean. Simpson Mastermark is the architectural wood name. NanaWall SL70 is the folding-wall name. Masonite Heritage and JELD-WEN IWP Aurora sit in the same dealer-fiberglass aisle as Classic Craft, not above it.

Kitchens

KraftMaid and Wellborn are the semi-custom dealer names. Crown Point, Wood-Mode, Plain & Fancy, and Crystal are the custom millwork names. American Woodmark is production. None of these is a factory-direct DDP path.

Bathrooms

Kohler Archer is the US fixture suite specifiers mean first. Toto Washlet is the bidet-seat name. Moen Align and Delta Trinsic are the contemporary faucet names. Brizo, DXV, and Robern are luxury sister lines, not a different manufacturer class.

Stone

Cambria Brittanicca is the US-made quartz name. Caesarstone and Silestone are the imported quartz names specifiers write. Dekton is sintered stone. Corian is solid surface, not quartz. MSI is a distributor brand, not a mill.

Important: We group by how the product is sold in the US so a replacement-franchise SKU is never compared to an architectural millwork line. Order inside a channel is specifier recognition, not a lab test, not a paid placement, not a Buildtana score. Flagship is the 2026 line a specifier is most likely to mean — not the newest SKU. When a brand re-lines, we bump dateModified.
